Overview

Evening of Elegance is my brand new songbook of four advanced theatrical piano pieces of adventure. Each piece is very different from the next. The four songs in the book are: On the edge of silence Troubled waters Evening of elegance Circus show spotlight Each beautifully crafted piece was composed and notated by diverse composer, Rebecca A. Drimmel. When I composed these scores, I was inspired by Frederic Chopin, Johann Sebastian Bach and Franz Liszt. My new book is defined in arpeggios and lush melodies and harmonies and beautifully crafted together. The first song in the book, ""On the edge of silence"" is more of a ""Flustered"" or ""Scattered"" sounding piece with flying notes all over the keyboard, that's why I gave this song that title. The second song in the book, ""Troubled Water"" has more rage which kind of represents stormy or rough seas, I felt ""Troubled waters"" was an appropriate name. The Third song in the book, ""Evening of elegance"" has a romantic evening essence to the piece in the style of a minuet so I felt this title was appropriate. The fourth and final song in the book, ""Circus show spotlight"" has a carnival show feeling and essence which was leading me to this title for this piece.
