Along with Tze Chun, Sal co-founded TKO Studios. Steven Simeone was born in New York but grew up on the internet. A steady regimen of science fiction, fantasy, and horror way before he understood what any of it was has left him well-equipped with a constant need to check under beds and over his shoulder. He is a graduate of the University of Houston's Creative Writing Program, where he was co-editor of their undergraduate literary journal GLASS MOUNTAIN during the year it won the National Program Director's Prize for content. His previous work is buried somewhere in the annals of the University of Houston library in his senior honors thesis and centers around themes of fraudulence and non-belonging. Nik Virella is a native New Yorker and School of Visual Arts alumnus. Her previous work includes THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES graphic novel, IDW's G.I. Joe, and Marvel titles such as RETURN OF THE LIVING DEADPOOL, 1872, HYPERION, ALL-NEW WOLVERINE, STAR WARS and BLACK WIDOW.
