Blessing Elebra was born to Nigerian and American parents, and is British; thus identifies himself as a 'Child of the World', staring at the stars above and hence, his 'nom de plume'- 'Starchild'. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (Oxford) and Master of Science in Medical Microbiology (London); perhaps this scientific direction stemmed from a curious mind and his love of nature, and its wisdom. As a child, he was generally good at sports and passionate about books, chess and music. He is at ease with each platform and is able to juggle and find inspiration and familiarity in music, poetry, Nature and Science. As if the same language is echoed through the forces of rhythms, harmony and melody, present in his poetic license.
