Welcome to this second volume of European Street photography.In this collection, I present images in colour and in black and white from different European cities, ranging from Cracow and Prague, to Lisbon and Porto, including German, French, Belgian, Irish and English urban and countryside landscapes.The immense majority of the images are authentic, spontaneous situations of everyday life. You will find portraits as well as cityimages of citizens going about their normal, everyday life.What is the matter or the subject of my attention?. The simple answeris... anybody or anything unusual. Whatever that captures my attentionand that can trigger the imagination is a subject interesting to me: a long white beard; a toothless smile; the way humans present themselves in society; fantasy; geometry; movement; light; darkness; color; animals enjoying life; representations of death... anything that helps me imaginelife differently from everyday, monotone activities. For I think that it is up to up to discover the beauty of existence in everyday life. Beauty is there for us to imagine it and to capture it for ever.Photography captures time encapsulating it for the future generations.From this point of view, one could argue that image is a means toexplore the present and to look for clues to interpret it. But for images, the past and its beauty would be lost altogether and for ever. Thesephotographs also proof that we are alive, that we were once here and that we left a trace of us and of our glance when contemplating our world.
