He graduated from the law faculty of the University of Zurich in 1985. Between 1985 and 1991 he worked with a district court, the Court of Commerce in Zurich, and as a lawyer in a Liechtenstein Bank. In 1992 he was admitted to the Zurich Bar. In 1993 he acquired a Diploma in European Economic Law from the University of St. Gallen and obtained his Doctorate in Law from the University of Zurich in 1995. From 1993 to 2000 he worked as a lawyer in a Liechtenstein law firm. From 2000 to 2003 he was an advisor to the Government of Liechtenstein, coordinating issues in the financial sector. In 2003 he became the Deputy Head of the Mission of Liechtenstein to the EU in Brussels. In 2012 he was appointed Assistant Secretary General of the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels. Mr. Georges Baur chaired the scientific board of the Liechtenstein Institute in Bendern (Liechtenstein) and gave several lectures, mainly on institutional aspects of EU association law, but also on international law. He also published numerous articles on these subjects, as well as on other aspects of the EEA Agreement, on intellectual property law and financial services law. Mr Carsten Zatschler was born on 2 August 1974 in Brussels. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1996, obtained masters' degrees from the Universit� Panth�on-Assas (Paris II) and the Humboldt Universit�t zu Berlin in 1997 and 1998, respectively, before being called to the Bar of England & Wales by the Inner Temple in 1999. After practice in commercial and public law, he joined the chambers of Sir Konrad Schiemann, British Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union, from 2004 to 2012, first as Legal Secretary (R�f�rendaire), then Head of Cabinet, staying on as Head of Cabinet to Christopher Vajda QC. Since 2015, he has been the Legal and Executive Director of the EFTA Surveillance Authority in Brussels. Mr Zatschler is a Fellow of the Centre of European Law of King's College London, a Fellow of the Institute of European Law and member of the visiting faculty at the Wirtschaftsuniversit�t Wien.
