He teaches Ethics at the University of Florida to undergraduate health science majors, along with a doctoral level Rehabilitation Psychology course. He also consults to health care organizations for rehabilitation program development and publishes in the area of applied ethics in health care Dr. Hanson received her PhDs in developmental and clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1986 and was one of the first women board certified in Rehabilitation Psychology. She served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology for 4 years, and chaired the Ethical and Social Responsibility Committee for APA Division 22 for 7 years.
