""Eternal Values in a World of Change"" by James K. Mathews, a retired Bishop in the United Methodist Church describes the Christian's role and ethical responsibility in the social, economic, political and multi-religious context of the 1970's and the 1980's. There are many parallels to these same challenges faced by religious leaders of all traditions in the 21st century. It is being published for the occasion of a Symposium at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C., December 17-19, 2009. The Symposium honors Bishop James K. Mathews and his Brother, Dean Joseph Wesley Mathews, who have provided descades of inspiration and leadership to those concerned with responsible Chistian living and social responsibility.
