Apesar da importância dos genes da família RAS na oncogénese do cancro, nenhum estudo tunisino investigou estes genes em associação com a LMC. A nível mundial, existe uma grande ambiguidade relativamente ao espetro mutacional dos genes K-ras e N-ras na LMC. Neste trabalho, propomo-nos analisar a prevalência de mutações nos genes K-ras e N-ras em doentes tunisinos com LMC. Além disso, planeamos correlacionar os dados moleculares com parâmetros clínicos.
