Overview

Radiology and ultrasound are the primary diagnostic imaging techniques used in veterinary medicine. The responsibility for obtaining useful diagnostic images usually falls onto the veterinary radiologist or radiographer. The book, consisting of 24 chapters, has been prepared according to the syllabus established by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and will assist veterinary students in understanding radiology and other diagnostic imaging technologies in the veterinary field. The book serves as an excellent complement to students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, interns, and veterinarians who are called upon to diagnose unfamiliar species. The book is designed to provide a comprehensive review of the subject, including more than 200 solved objective-type questions for various entrance tests such as Pre-P.G, ICAR-JRF, ICAR-SRF, ARS, Pre-IAS, State PSC, State civil services examination, and interviews. At the end of the book, a glossary of imaging-related terms has been included for easy and quick revision.
