An LPC and licensed psychologist, he has experience in a wide variety of settings including schools, social service agencies, and as a private practitioner. He has taught counseling for over 40 years, and is a nationally known author, presenter, and researcher. He is an American Counseling Association (ACA) Fellow and received the 2022 ACA Tom Hohenshil National Publication Award. Danica G. Hays, Ph.D., is Professor and Dean of the College of Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has published more than 125 journal articles and book chapters in her areas of research expertise.
