This book has three parts: Part I (Chapters 1-4) covers fundamental concepts; Part II (Chapters 5-11) introduces dose optimization under various scenarios; and Part III (Chapter 12-16) covers biological products, including antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADC), antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This book was written in an unconventional way, with the goal of being engaging and informative. Author Information

Guohua An, MD, PhD, currently is an Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa. Her research centers on pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and pharmacometrics. She has been in the PK/PD field for 18 years and has published 94 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. An is an editor of Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and she serves as an editorial board member of Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, The AAPS Journal, and Journal of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics. In addition to conducting research, she also teaches students in the PharmD program and graduate program. She has been teaching 3 courses as the sole instructor- ""Pharmacokinetics and Dose Optimization"", ""Advanced Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics"", and ""Concepts in Preclinical Drug Development"".
