The text is clearly written, contains excellent, up-to-date background science, comprehensive clinical and laboratory data and sensible advice on the management of a full range of haematological disorders. My own students were delighted to see a copy and were unanimous in their view that this is a high quality bargain. Journal of Clinical Pathology The molecular and biochemical aspects of modern haematology are simply and clearly explained throughout, so encouraging students to read further from the comprehensive reading list at the end of each chapter...It is a difficult book to fault and must take first place as the undergraduates' handbook for haematology.
