A beautiful book with very detailed drawings! Although I have never been to Japan, I feel like I have visited there after exploring this coloring book. The drawings really allow you to experience the ambience of the environment but allow you to add your own creativity to bring it to life. This book is a work of art by an extremely talented artist! I bought 2 of these, 1 to color and one to keep on my coffee table to show my friends and family. Not only is it meticulously created, it is also educational. This coloring book depicts historic and cultural sites & even the food one would enjoy on a trip to Japan. I feel as though I'm on this magical journey with the artist/author as I look through the pages! I intend to buy more for gifts as my friends and loved ones are equally excited when they view this gorgeous work of art! This is a delightful book that perfectly captures the essence of Japan. The coloring pages are beautifully illustrated and detailed, and it makes a great gift for someone who has visited or will be visiting Japan, or just loves Japanese culture. I liked the detailed and informative descriptions of the images at the back of the book, and I had fun journeying through the temples and landscapes of Japan.

"I'm Joyce Will, artist and owner of ArtisticWill Designs. I'm passionate about creating beautiful art uniquely different from the rest. My purpose is to help people feel good when looking at my art, bringing them peace and joy with every illustration and design. After traveling to Japan to experience the country of my heritage. I was so inspired by its beauty, culture, and people that I had to illustrate the ""Essence"" into a coloring book. The illustrations all represent real destinations in central Japan. More volumes to come for your enjoyment. I'm a wife, mom, and artist living in Southern California. Art has always been part of my life. With a BFA in Illustration, I decided to branch out and share my talents. I love creating detailed coloring books, painting glitter art, traveling, visiting museums, and loving new experiences.
