She is Former President of the European Society for the History of Economics and the Italian Society for the History of Political Economy, and has worked as Visiting Professor in several universities, in Europe, Japan, Mexico and the USA. She has worked on classical monetary theory, the Cambridge School of Economics, Keynesian economics, and more recently, Keynes's investments in financial markets.
