Author InformationShawna Joo is a writer, educator, and mother of two who believes every journey is a story waiting to be told. A Korean-American author with over ten years of teaching experience, Shawna holds a degree in linguistics and literacy from Teachers College, Columbia University and is an alumna of both Columbia University and New York University. When she isn't crafting new adventures for Esla, she is likely exploring a new corner of the globe or working on her next book in the series. Shawna's work is inspired by her childhood love of scrapbooking, and she hopes her series encourages a new generation of young travelers who grow a love for keepsaking their adventures while enhancing their global immersion and cultural competency. Zoe Mellors has always had a love for art, from finger painting as a child to the intricate doodles that took over the margins of her school books. After studying illustration at the University of Lincoln, she turned her passion into a career, creating whimsical, heartfelt artwork that brings stories to life. A firm believer in the magic of storytelling, Zoe is endlessly inspired by the tales that once captivated her as a young reader. She now lives in the U.K. with her husband, and ever-growing library of books, and a steady supply of tea (essential fuel for any illustrator, obviously!). Somi Cha is a South Korean illustrator with a background in illustration and visual design from Duksung Women's University. She has spent over 10 years drawing from when she was a little girl like Esla. She attended design high school in Korea before she entered university and hopes to continue what she loves after graduation. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
