Vietnam was a country that was war-torn and left reeling. Escape from Vietnam is the true story of a young Vietnamese woman's flight from hell. In a nation were napalm bombs scorched the earth, this is Mai's personal chronicle of war. Domestic violence shattered her world, as she was routinely beaten and tortured mentally in violent outbursts of temper by her enraged husband.
