For five years she was the voice of Headline News, now HLN, during which time she also promoted features and news stories for CNN and CNN International. She is a graduate of Florida State University. Julie Bradley is the author of Escape from the Ordinary and the upcoming Crossing Pirate Water. Julie served over twenty years in Army Military Intelligence, then sailed off with her husband for the circumnavigation adventure of a lifetime. Until their voyage, Julie's writing consisted of Intelligence reports, but eventually she loosened up enough and her writing has since appeared in Latitude 38, Cruising World, Boating New Zealand, and in the Sunday travel section of local and regional newspapers.
