Overview

The epic journey that began with Ànifa and her companions continues in the second installment of the Rebalancing the Cosmos series. Deep in the Volgash Desert on the planet Melridion lies a hidden compound that the rest of the Vortex Solar System knows nothing about. Owned by Lord Foxaire, a deeply cunning Lakinceitian, the compound holds many valuable secrets. Among those secrets are captives, including some of Ànifa's companions from the first book. Professor Navacus Clums, a highly valued employee at the compound, is introduced to formidable secrets in the underground facilities. Due to the arrival of strange Humans from another system, his tour is cut short. Now, Navacus faces a dilemma. He can't speak to his team about his time underground and the horrors within, and he is barred from visiting again until further notice. This doesn't stop Navacus from doing everything he can to uncover more secrets hidden deep within the compound. Thanks to information provided by his former test subject, West Kilinder, and a mysterious Light Being, Navacus knows that he and his team cannot remain at the compound much longer. Can Navacus, West, and the rest of their crew navigate the perils of the compound and escape from Melridion unscathed?

Author Information

Alex Galassi is the author of the Rebalancing the Cosmos series. He has been writing and creating stories for most of his life. Many of his characters, including Navacus Clums and Cecil Kloud, were born through his time playing with LEGO.Alex was born in Littleton, Colorado in the early 1990s and has lived in Colorado his entire life. He received his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is the VP of Technology at Blue Zenith Design + Strategy, a small business founded and run by his mother. When he is not at work or writing fiction, Alex enjoys exploring Colorado's beautiful mountains, reading fantasy and science-fiction novels, attending concerts at Red Rocks, and playing Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and video games.
