Tooling Real Ecumenism, E.R.G.O. Is an Educational Book for Church and Monastic People, Seminarians, Catechumens, Priests, and Bishops--People Who Work and Pray for Unity Between Denominations and Churches, and Throughout Christendom. The morally orthodox, Bible-mindful, Trinitarian churches and denominations, which are defined below, share enough in common for it to be proclaimed that true Ecumenism with all its vibrant Fellowships, Communions, Councils, and Synods is possible between them. I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. - John 17:23 ""The Whole Inhabited World,"" Defined: Ecumenism consists of the movement, principles, and initiatives that promote unity, cooperation, and optimal understanding among distinct Christian denominations and traditions. Derived from the Greek οἰκουμένη (oikoumenē or ""the whole inhabited world"") the togetherness of two or more Christians gathered in Christ's name begs the question: How can ecumenical relationships strive within the parishes and bishoprics of the whole inhabited world to foster unity through sameness in theology (Matthew 18:20). Can it not be shared among Christians, collaborating on building Faith, dialogue, and joint action rather than merely moving silently apart from each other, being respectful of affinities among one another's core doctrines? Moreover, because theological similarity would not always lead to eucharistic and ecclesiastical communion, churches can still do many good things within their Fellowship that help their congregations grow in Grace and Agape.
