OverviewLaMarr Jones was born and raised in the greater New York area. He was raised in the foster care system, shuffled from family member to family member. When he was fifteen he found himself in a group home environment with only a pen and a notebook with his favorite poems. He started writing poetry when just a young lad. He started writing rap songs for friends. He writes from the heart and with a strong faith in God. Most of his work is based on his life experiences and his faith. He's a proud veteran of the armed forces. This work is a complete trilogy of his collective works. It is a journey through the heart, mind and soul of a modern day poet. He put down it on paper in verse and ode. Through the heart of the author you feel that hope survives.
