Ephodell

Overview

In the mystical realm of Paradise Ephodell, destinies collide as five unlikely heroes rise to face a darkness threatening their world. Arvid, a boy driven by dreams of glory, finds himself thrust onto the throne, where he is asked to lead his father's armies against his uncle's forces. Valis, a wizard of immense power, must find the evil infecting his lands. Elin, once timid and overlooked, discovers that the power her parents asked her to keep secret may be the key to saving the realm. Dhernas, a dragon rider haunted by the past, flees from the dragon isles to escape the assassination awaiting him after he bonds with his dragon. It's not long before he finds himself choosing between staying hidden and defending a small village. And a young wizard, shattered by loss, embarks on a journey that will forge them into one of the most powerful sorcerers the land has ever seen.

Author Information

I'm a veteran. I served with the Marine Corps but was a Navy corpsman. I served 8 years before becoming a civil servant at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, for a decade. All my friends either served in the military or played football or basketball with me at some point. I love being a black nerd because it subverts people's expectations of me. I like nerd culture, like anime and old movies. I recently discovered my love for books. I have a hard time reading them, though. I have many symptoms of dyslexia. I love watching sports like USA soccer, tennis, and any Olympic sport, but the good old NBA and NFL are my favorites. I moved from California, the greatest state in the Union, to live in Georgia, a close number three.
