Allan Svendsen is Senior Science Manager of Protein Design at Novozymes A/S, Bagsvaerd, Denmark. The author or coauthor of more than 80 scientific publications, he holds more than 60 patent applications and patents in protein engineering. An organizer of several global conferences on lipases and lipids, and coordinator of several international engineering projects, Mr. Svendsen received the Cand. Scient. degree (1985) in biochemistry from the Institute of Biochemical Genetics, University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
