He holds an Aggregation in Social Sciences with a specialization in Global Studies and Entrepreneurial Education, a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Aveiro, and the title of Specialist in Management and Administration. His research focuses on Entrepreneurial Education, Learning Innovation, Humanized Leadership, and Global Citizenship. He has published extensively in journals, books, and edited volumes, and he has designed several entrepreneurship education programs applied in academic and organizational contexts.
