Overview"Entering the Mind, by C von Hassett, is a deeply insightful exploration of a timeless wisdom practice known as Dzogchen--a meditation practice which points the practitioner directly to their own innate, naturally occurring mind, or what is otherwise known as ""mind in its natural state."" This is the very mind the Buddha spoke of as being already awakened, already enlightened, and this mind is easily accessible and readily observable within each of us. Entering the Mind shows us how to do just that: how to confidently recognize our own awakened mind within ourselves, then realize it within this one lifetime." He is also a decades-long practitioner of Dzogchen, a radical if not revolutionary wisdom practice which points the practitioner directly toward the recognition of their own mind, there but to awaken. His first book, The Boundary Stone, is a narrative poem set in the embering afters of an apocalypse. Hassett has spent much of his life in contemplative retreat, the latter of these years in the high desert of the Northern Mojave. He currently lives with his wife and two dogs in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree. Rachel Reid Wilkie is a poet, spoken word performer, visual storyteller, and a woman who pursues a life led by consciousness, earth awareness, and a full commitment to the Arts. Her poetry, spoken word, and performance explore the art of song and its relationship to the word, to writing as a dimension which leads into and shines light on the inward self.
