Overview

This volume is, in part, an account of a Spiritual 'Opening-up' of a thoughtful individual who had no religious beliefs, and who became fascinated by Spiritualism and its philosophy, then gravitated more to Christian Science and Christianity in general, although the message of the work is universal. The writer trained in Zoology, then in Biochemistry, and, throughout life tried to keep abreast of the major findings in all areas of science. This book is an attempt to 'marry up' these diverse fields of human activity into a unified outlook that empathises the importance and power of unconditional love, and the author attempts to uncover why the laws of science and religion are the way they are. The overall message is one of hope and optimism since the vast potential of all our minds are clearly 'untapped', and a time is approaching when we, as a species must become more loving and move away from the selfishnesses of our past into a state of greater inner peace and contentment. The writing and ideas have been kept as simple as possible and are aimed at every 'seeker after the truth', whether or not they know anything about science and religion. Towards the end there are two scientific appendices, the second of which, in parts, is aimed more at the specialist, but it is not important to the general message of this book.
