OverviewIn Enough to Make God Laugh: A Pastor Resolves the Science/Religion Issue, Albert N. Wells helps us discover and understand the fascination and strangeness of the place we live in, and he does it with profound reverence and wonder. With titles like, How Things Happen, A Creator Who Loves Pizzaz, and Adrift in Space and Time, the centrality of God's laughter comes through as readers are offered new ways of interpreting old truths. In this book we are given a heightened appreciation of BOTH science AND religion, and the importance of both dimensions for a well-informed mind and a well-rounded life. Wells leads us to clearly view science as the friend of religion, and religion as the friend of science, so that we are not compelled to deny either. The 'eye' of science and the 'eye' of religion-together-are potent, prolific partners in the quest for knowledge and wisdom for citizens of planet Earth. The author makes a strong case for using both eyes in our journey.
