OverviewBreaking from the Profile Series norm, this book endeavors to tell the story of two sister buildings for Pennsylvania State's Dickinson School of Law. After the recent union between the two schools, Richard Olcott was commissioned to design two new buildings: one for the law school on Penn State's main campus and one for the original campus in Carlisle. This book explores the challenge of creating two buildings distinguished by entirely different site conditions, but with a shared program and the identical mission to establish a new campus focal point on their respective campuses. Designed in tandem, the buildings create a visual dialogue across the campuses, and reinforce the dual identity of the Law School.
