Debbie McCrary is a wife, homeschool mama and grammy living out her dream of a full, but simple life in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. She's been married to her wonderful husband, Keith, 40 years and is mother to seven amazing blessings ages 38 to 13 (and five in heaven before birth) and four grandchildren ages 12 to 3. Bulochka, the star of this book, is their special fur baby. Their mountainside homestead includes Bernese Mountain dogs, Highland cattle, and a feathered flock. Spending time with her amazing family on the mountainside homestead, a good cup of tea or coffee, adventures in God's beautiful creation, hiking, paddleboarding, fishing, enjoying good books and music, and making pottery are some of her favorite ways to ""Enjoy the Little Things."" Her special passions are serving her family and investing hope, love, and encouragement in her children and grandchildren and pointing them to Jesus as Savior. Savannah Jane McCrary is the daughter of Debbie McCrary, the author of this book, and her Bernese Mountain Dog, Brielle, is the daughter of Bulochka, whom this book is about. Savannah has enjoyed drawing and painting for as long as she can remember and dreamed of illustrating books since she was a little girl. She's also an author passionate about creating beauty and spreading hope and light through her words. Her latest release, Trains and Tulips: A Novel of the World War II Dutch Resistance, includes a dog based after Brielle!
