Enhancing Tagging Systems


Overview

Searching through bulks of information that are currently present on the web is difficult, therefore mechanisms such as tagging are used in order to facilitate browsing through this content. Current tagging systems do not address any common issues that arise by tagging. We aim to analyze and improve the process of tagging, specially in the field of blogging systems. We propose a novel approach for creating an intelligent tagging tool based on semantic technologies, that is able to facilitate the categorization of the content of a community student blog portal.
