The author was an English Language professor in Korea for 14 years; his last position was with the English Linguistics Department of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He noticed that the instruction in advanced English writing skills generally focused on a series of writing exercises and minor writing assignments and less on the instruction of the actual process of writing. In this book the author focuses on the process of writing, the various forms of writing, and how to become a good writer not only in English but also in your first language.
