Author Information

The Author: After receiving his Ph.D. in English from Syracuse University, Yashdip S. Bains has taught at universities in Canada, India, and the United States. In 1974 he was appointed Professor and Head of the Department of English, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India. In 1984 he joined the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Cincinnati. In addition to numerous articles in professional journals, Dr. Bains wrote two books on the authenticity of some of Shakespeare's first Quartos and is Managing Editor of American Drama.
