Overview

This book includes four activities for nouns. Children have the opportunity to match pictures to the first letter the pictures begin with. These activities give children the opportunity to become familiar with many nouns and some words for nouns in a fun way. These activities are suitable for use in a one to one or small group setting.This book was created by Lorraine Dunne. Lorraine is the mother of one boy and she trained as a secondary school teacher and Guidance Counsellor. The courses she completed include a B. A. in Humanities, a Higher Diploma in Education, a Higher Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, a Dyslexia tutoring course, a Diploma in Life Coaching as well as a number of T.E.F.L. courses. She gained a vast amount of experience over an eleven year period working as a teacher in various educational settings and with different age groups. She also worked as a Guidance Counsellor between two schools and a Youthreach Centre for two years. She currently develops educational materials and resources for children and students.
