OverviewMale involvement in FP services utilization is crucial for promoting reproductive health, reducing unintended pregnancies, and fostering more equitable and healthy relationships between partners. Encouraging the active participation of men in FP discussions and decisions is a valuable strategy for achieving these goals. Given that men often have primary decision-making roles in most African households, their involvement is essential for women's utilization and continuation of contraceptive methods. However, for various reasons, male involvement in FP services remains limited. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the level of male involvement in FP service utilization and identify associated factors in Musanze district, northern Rwanda. A cross-sectional study using a quantitative approach was conducted among married men aged 21 years and above in Musanze district. A sample size of 397 respondents was selected using simple random sampling. Pre-tested interview-administered questionnaires were used for data collection.
