Clearly written... Recommended for academic libraries, large public libraries, and seminary libraries.
- Booklist/RBB, February 2002
Though the volume will most likely find its primary audience among students, general readers interested in the topic may find themselves browsing the wealth of material gathered here.
- School Library Journal, February 2002
The volume is well structured, with numerous cross-references in both the text and index. Highly recommended for undergraduate collections and seminaries.
- Choice, March 2002
As part of the growing Routledge Encyclopedias of Religion and Societies series, the Encyclopedia of Fundamentalism maintains the quality evidenced in the other books in the series.
