Overview

Very much in the style of the early 20th century, this arrangement of the original work for xylophone and piano begins with an andante introduction before starting on the polka proper. The polka is structured in an AABA form, flowing into a cadenza for the soloist before a rousing finish to the work. A wonderful work for recital or contest for the intermediate to advancing mallet player. Also available for trumpet and piano from the publisher.
