Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationOluwatoyin Ajani holds a bachelor degree (Social Studies Education), master degree (Sociology of Education), from the Lagos State University, Lagos; and Doctor of Philosophy (Curriculum Studies), from the University of Zululand. He is presently a lecturer in the Department of Language and Social Sciences Education, at the University of Zululand (UNIZULU), KwaDlangezwa, South Africa. He is an experienced researcher, who has made scholarship contributions to teacher education. Dr Ajani's academic journey began as a teacher in various secondary schools in Lagos, Nigeria. His passion for education made him to further his education, to become a lecturer in higher education. In his capacity as an academic, he supervises both Masters and Doctoral students, alongside his teaching engagements. As a vibrant and versatile scholar, Dr Ajani has published extensively on various issues in higher education; which include online learning, professional development, curriculum design, decolonisation of education in higher education and others. He had been a research fellow at different times, with North-West University and Durban University of Technology. He won Vice Chancellor’s Award for established researcher at the University of Zululand, in 2022.
