She is currently a professor at higher education institutions, and she has also been the Director of an institution since 2019. Paula has 20 years of experience in the business area with functions of direction, coordination, and consultancy. Throughout her professional experience, she has collaborated on leadership development projects. At research level, she has carried out research into Human Resource Development, more specifically Leadership Development in organizations, with some publications in scientific journals and conferences. As a book editor, she has published on the impact of AI on Management, Employee Experience Management, Organizational Resilience, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management. José Rouco is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management in the School of Economic Sciences and Organizations at Lusofóna University. He obtained her PhD from Lusíada University in 2012. He holds a Master's degree in Sports Training Management from the Faculty of Human Motricity at the Technical University of Lisbon. He graduated from the Portuguese Military Academy. Currently, he is the director of the Department of Civil Aviation and Airports Management and the director of the Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Management. He is a member of the Aeronautics Sectorial Commission (AED Cluster Portugal), a member of the Space Sectorial Commission (AED Cluster Portugal), and a member of the Defense Sectorial Commission (AED Cluster Portugal). He is a member of the Skills Working Group of AED Cluster Portugal.
