This journal as a compaion to the Emotional Fitness book, both grew out of lived experience rather than theory.For many years, I moved through life doing what so many of us to; managing, pushing, adapting, and trying to stay afloat while everything around me felt fast, demanding and loud.Like many, I believed that peace would come once things settled down, once I became better at holding it all together.Instead, what changed my life was learning how to be still. And not by escaping the chaos, but by meeting myself within it.Through my own emotional challenges and moments of uncertainty, I discovered that presence has a quiet power. Learning how to slow down internally, to sit with my breath, and to notice my emotions without trying to fix or override them helped me move through difficult experiences with more clarity and self-trust. Stillness did not remove the challenges, but it changed my relationship to them. It allowed space for perspective, softness, and understanding to emerge where reactivity once lived.
