He is actively engaged in research in the areas of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and Internet of Things (IoT) and has published and presented his work at reputable international journals and conferences.Dr. Indrakshi Dey is the Head of the Programmable Autonomous Systems (PAS) Division at the Walton Institute for Information and Communication Systems Science, South East Technological University, Waterford, Ireland. Dr. Dey is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin and a Funded Investigator at the CONNECT Centre for Future Communication Networks. Her research spans over developing propagation models, analysing performance bounds and designing communication techniques for a variety of environments from half-duplex wireless networks, wireless sensor networks, full-duplex networks, IoT to underwater acoustics, space and futuristic quantum communication networks.
