OverviewUltrasound is an important modality in the assessment of the emergency room patient. Ultrasound is portable, fast, safe, inexpensive, and requires no advance preparation. This issue reviews the use of Ultrasound in the imaging workup in patients with traumatic injuries and scrotal, adnexal, and upper right quadrant pain.
