He is a senior officer and former head of the Orthopedic Department of Ystad Hospital, Sweden and is Director of Internship Education for the entire hospital. Dr. Sölveborn is a former researcher at Uppsala University, where he published articles mainly on tennis elbow and Achilles tendon rupture. He is a Past President of the Swedish Society of Sports Medicine and is currently Secretary-General of the North European Chapter of Sports and Exercise Medicine.
