Author Information

Joseph R. Lex is currently an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He is the Department Director of Resident Education as well as the Department Director of Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Lex has been involved in Emergency Medicine for more than 40 years - an a physician, a registered nurse, an ER tech, and as a medic in Vietnam. He has been an invited speaker at more than 250 international, national, and regional meetings over the past ten years.
