Youth Group: Go deeper than pizza and armpit relays! Just what you need to disciple students--and make your life easier. This youth group program was developed by Matt Milthaler of Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in Tipp City, OH and is currently in use at Ginghamsburg. The eMerge youth program comes in three 13-program volumes, volume 3.0 contains a director's book, an interactive DVD, and two small group leader's guides--one for leaders working with younger youth and one for leaders working with older youth. Both small group leader's guides come with an interactive CD. Each of the 13 programs in this first volume is enhanced by visual media and divided into two segments: a large group gathering and teaching time, followed by dividing youth into small groups for more intimate discussion. The director's kit will provide all the materials that leaders need to plan and carry out the programs and to resource small group leaders.The interactive DVD features video segments, PowerPoint games, printable handouts, and a video showing a working model of the program. The interactive CDs found in the small group leader's guides provide leader training in MP3 format and printable handouts for use in the small-group setting.Note to Director: The Kit contains one Leader's Guide for younger youth and one Leader's Guide for older youth. Matt Milthaler is the youth ministry coordinator for middle school youth at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in Tipp City, Ohio, where he teaches and ministers to hundreds of teens every week. He has also served as Ginghamsburg's media producer, creating original video segments to enhance worship and Christian education. Matt lives in the Dayton, Ohio area with his wife and two-year-old son.
