Emeralds in the Rough

Overview

Jennifer Cahill has just joined the Chicago Police Department, eager to prove herself as a probationary officer. Paired with veteran Training Officer Brenda Kennedy-respected on the job but hiding a secret that could destroy her-Jennifer quickly learns the city's streets are as dangerous as they are unpredictable. When a drug bust tied to The Emeralds, an Irish crime syndicate carving out power in Chicago, threatens Brenda's career, Jennifer is caught in the crossfire of loyalty and corruption. And when a chance meeting at Molly McGuire's introduces her to Tommy Hogan, a charming stranger with ties she can't quite place, Jennifer finds herself questioning her instincts-and her safety. As attempted kidnappings and tangled loyalties close in, Jennifer must uncover the truth before the secrets around her cost more than her badge... they could cost her life.
