Today, Science and Technology have gained a knowledge of the complexity in the design and functioning of all things that was undreamed of at the turn of the century. As they probe this new knowledge they will see all things are the product of unknown superior intelligent forces. And, this knowledge will have to be integrated into religious beliefs.However, integrating this new information will not be by established religions, or theology, but by the scientists making these discoveries. A new model is required, The new model of the universe that western science has adopted has established energy instead of matter as the basic ingredient of all things This virtually destroys western science's view of a mechanical universe. In place of matter it establishes a universe of organizations, or patterns of dynamic energy.As a result it will become apparent to researchers the amazing organization and complexity of these organizations, or patterns of dynamic energy. They will see they must be the product of some organizing, or superior intelligent force. Very soon the role of these superior intelligent forces in the design, construction, and maintenance of the myriad manifestations of energy that make up everything, will be postulated by western science, and replace the concept of God as a super being.The result will emerge as a new science based religion which acknowledges the presence and involvement of spiritual forces in every nuance of life. Energy, matter, and consciousness will become the new trinity. E=MC2=God its formula.While the establishment of the supremacy of consciousness by western science will be new, many of the concepts will not be. Most will have their antecedent in Eastern religions. For example, The ancient Hindu Vedic philosophy's concept of Brahma as pure consciousness, unknown and unknowable, and Buddhism.

Russell W. Smith Jr. was born at Springwood, Virginia in 1924, holds a degree in economics and began his writing career after retiring from the Federal government. He began his government career during the Kennedy administration as an industrial specialist in the Director's Office of the Institute of Applied Technology, Dept of Commerce, and later as project manager in their Experimental Technology Incentives Program. Later he transferred to the Consumer Product Safety Commission where he held a position as federal liaison officer, and later as operational auditor in their Inspector General Office. After leaving college he spent several years as a speculative home builder before entering the technical field. There he gained considerable industry experience as an engineer developing flight simulator prototypes at ERCO, and in the advanced electronics lab of Convair during the development of the Atlas missile (first ICBM). Returning to Washington he became the Technical Director of two major Trade Associations; building manufacturer's Producers Council and the Plumbing Fixture Manufacturers Assn. Mr. Smith's writings chronicle a lifetime of unbridled curiosity and critical analysis in many fields. In particular religious philosophy. As he puts it: Thinking out of the box!
