Author Information

Koren A. Pope is a single mother of two adult children. For the past twenty-three years, she has worked and trained in various areas of the medical field including health administration, intensive care, surgery, and mental health. While she attended Strayer University for a degree in business administration, her passion for mental health awareness, stemming from her own journey with depression, led her back to the healthcare field. She felt inspired by her journey and wanted to help women who struggle getting past the starting line and became a certified master life coach. She worked closely with Davina, her coauthor, to devise a system to help others to complete their visions. She has been there, afraid to move as the obstacles towered like mountains above her. But she found a way to move the mountains. She hopes you will learn how to move your own mountains and realize it is never too late to achieve your dreams. Davina Coleman, a beloved educator, minister, certified 7 Habits of Highly Effective People trainer through Leader in Me, and session presenter, has inspired and led many, especially as an educator in Beaufort, SC. As a certified master life coach, she worked closely with Koren, her coauthor, to devise a system to help others to effectively start and finish their visions. For over a decade, she has worked as an educator: she started her career in the classroom as a middle grades math teacher, shifted to instructional coaching, and now serves as a school administrator. She has a master's in educational leadership, a master's in teaching middle level mathematics, and a bachelor's in business administration. As a forever educator, she practices what she teaches as she implements her personal mission: Vision realized. Take steps. Initiate Movement. She wants you to know your current circumstance is not your life's conclusion; you can achieve what you desire with planning and purposeful action.
