Kelsie Pattillo, Ph.D. (2014), University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is a Visiting Scholar and former Senior Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her research primarily focuses on both cross-linguistic and diachronic tendencies. She has published numerous chapters and articles on embodiment, among others in Embodiment in Cross-Linguistic Studies: The ‘Eye’ (Baş and Kraska-Szlenk eds., 2022, Brill) and The ‘Head’ (Kraska-Szlenk ed., 2019, Brill) and ""On the Borrowability of Body Parts"" in the Journal of Language Contact, 14.2 (2021). Małgorzata Waśniewska is a teaching assistant and Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of English Studies in the Faculty of Modern Languages at the University of Warsaw.
