Author Information

ELIZA KELLEY is the owner of the true-life Archie-the most enchanting dog ever-who stars in this story. Eliza was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome when she was eight years old. She hopes this story will help others better understand tic conditions. Eliza loves to ride horses (including one with no eyes!), climb trees, create art, play tennis, swim, and perform gymnastics. Archie is her greatest love, but she has a big heart for all puppies, cats and dogs. One day she hopes to live on a farm and become a horse trainer. This is her first published book. DEBRA WHITING ALEXANDER holds a PhD in psychology and is the author of many nonfiction and fiction books, including award-winning novels Zetty and A River for Gemma. She lives near the hazelnut orchards in Oregon where she loves taking walks with the coauthor of this book-her beloved, wildly creative granddaughter.
