Hilary Duff is a multifaceted actress and recording artist whose career began on the popular Disney sitcom Lizzie McGuire. She has since starred in many movies and television series, including Cheaper by the Dozen, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, and A Cinderella Story. She has also released three multiplatinum albums, as well as a clothing line for DKNY and a bestselling fragrance. Her humanitarian work is recognized throughout the world and she is actively involved with the charity Blessings in a Backpack. She has served on the President's Council and was named Youth Ambassador to Colombia. Elixir is her first novel. Elise Allen is the author of Populazzi and the coauthor, with Hilary Duff, of Elixir. She currently resides in Los Angeles. Julia Whelan, a former child actress best known for her award-winning work on ABC's Once and Again, began narrating and directing audiobooks after graduating from college with a degree in English and creative writing. She has garnered many positive reviews, won multiple AudioFile Earphones Awards, and was named one of AudioFile magazine's Best Voices of 2010. Two of Julia's audiobooks were shortlisted for the American Library Association's notable recordings of 2010.
