Abbas Omar is a chair-professor and head of the Chair of Microwave and Communication Engineering at the University of Magdeburg in Germany. He holds a M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt and a Dr.Ing. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg in Germany.
